PRICING MODEL
To ensure that your goods arrive safely at your customers’, our delivery prices contain various factors.
The major part of our delivery prices are labor costs. We see it as our responsibility that couriers receive a fair salary even after deducting their insurance and taxes. In return, we can rely on professional and reliable delivery.
Your goods are the core of the delivery. They must arrive at the customer's door in perfect condition. And if something should happen, it is important for the handling afterwards that your goods are insured. This is also included in our delivery price.
As another delivery price component, a small amount of the delivery price is paid to banbutsu in order to run our operations.
The last part that is included in our delivery price is the value added tax.

banbutsu runs a software platform to connect partners across various industries. We are a B2B service and enable exciting customer experiences and new business synergies. In this solution, we partner with Shopify and local delivery firms to make fast, local and sustainable deliveries available to you and your customers.
Fast and sustainable delivery gained high relevance and consumer attention, not at least accelerated by the implications of COVID but also the rise of 10 minute grocery services like ‘Gorillas’. It has been proven that fast delivery services are not just a niche or convenience feature, but also a key purchase motivation. With banbutsu Courier you can now easily connect your existing Shopify store to such an infrastructure and keep pace with your future customer expectations.
The delivery cost is calculated based on the pick-up and delivery location. We consider 3 zones: Zone A, B and AB. But the most important fact is: you only pay when you ship. There is no ongoing fee or shipping limit you have to reach.
Your goods are ensured by default up to 1000€. Your ship higher value goods? No problem.
Yes, you can easily adjust your schedule in the app admin panel. Under the tab 'Same-Day' you will see the section 'Schedule\’. Here you can individually adjust your pick-up and delivery times.

Direct orders will be shipped within 2 hours after the order was placed. The feature is currently in a testing stage and will soon be available.
Using banbutsu Courier requires at least a Basic Shopify plan with an annual payment.
If your shop runs on a Basic Shopify plan with monthly payment or lower, you’ll need to upgrade in order to enable the Shopify carrier services which are necessary to receive dynamic shipping rates.
We are happy to support you in finding the right plan.
No, banbutsu will be displayed as an additional carrier service and only to customers in your local area. All other settings will remain unchanged. You discovered a problem?
